To assist veterans seeking employment, Selective Service joined other federal agencies committed to taking extra steps to hire them through the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA’s) VA for Vets program. This program aligns with President Obama’s executive order establishing an interagency council on veterans’ employment to promote opportunities for veterans and meet the federal government’s staffing needs for highly skilled individuals.

Pathways Programs

Selective Service’s Pathways Programs provide opportunities for students and recent graduates to be considered for federal employment through:

  • Selective Service Pathways Intern Employment Program;
  • Selective Service Pathways Recent Graduates Program; and
  • Selective Service Pathways Presidential Management Fellows (PMF) Programs
