We've got a little advice for you now that you're 18: it's time to register with the Selective Service System!

Register Now

By registering, a young man stays eligible for jobs, college loans and grants, job training, driver’s license in most states, and U.S. citizenship for immigrant men. It's also the law. It's every man’s duty under the Military Selective Service Act to register at age 18 and keep your registration up to date until you turn 26.

Check If You're Registered

If you think you're already registered, it's always best to check! Online verification is a quick and easy way to access your Selective Service registration number and date of registration. After retrieving your registration information online, you have the option to print an official letter of verification from Selective Service.
