Open Government Directive - Friday, January 15, 2010
In response to President Obama’s Open Government Directive, the Selective Service System has made available its registration compliance data by age groups. By making this valuable information available online for the first time, the public can now easily review and analyze the work of the agency which is has the mission of registering men for a possible draft. The Military Selective Service Act instructs virtually all men living in the United States between 18 through 25 to register. Only if there is a high compliance with this law will a future draft be fair and equitable.
